I ordered my first guitar from a J.C. Penney catalog after seeing a performance by Jimi Hendrix during a documentary of Woodstock. I decided to be a southpaw as homage to my childhood hero.

Soon after I joined my first band In Session which included Billy Buchanan and Reggie Terrell. This high school band had some local success and Our demo received college airplay. But shortly after graduation, the band disbanded.

While bandmate Billy went on to work with Rebecca St James and later front his own band Fusebox (which Reggie was a part of as well), I found myself experiencing the joys of raising a family. It wasn't until my late thirties that I really started pursuing music again, but the day came roughly about 10 and ½  years ago  when I asked myself  “what am I  doing?”.

Standing in front of people singing about someone else's heartbreaks, addictions, and egos just didn't make sense to me anymore, so I disbanded my cover band The Reckless Allstars.  I got the name from a Luther Allison cd .

So you are probably wondering what have I been doing for the last 10 (or so years) ? . Well I have been working on James 2:26 but MORE IMPORTANLY, CHRIST has been ( and still is !!) working on me .

I surrendered my heart to Christ and He gave me the desires of my  heart because He became the desire of my heart…..

This is as close to an interview as anyone will ever get , everything  I feel I need to say is and will be in my songs …

Don't follow me, follow Jesus Christ.
